  Our ingredients include aloe vera leaf juice, which is a great source of vitamin C and is highly moisturizing. The grape seed oil is a highly potent antioxidant that soothes the skin. The denatured alcohol disinfects our hands from germs. The entire formulation acts as a protective glove moisturizing and disinfecting hands from germs, leaving them clean and moisturized.   Yes, all of our products are vegan, natural, and cruelty free.

• Is your hand sanitizing lotion recyclable and eco-friendly?

  Yes, our hand sanitizing lotion bottle is made from 100% recyclable aluminum and should be recycled after use.

• What can your hand sanitizing lotion be used for?

  Our hand sanitizing lotion is to be applied to hands for the use of cleansing impurities and killing germs, keeping your hands clean but fully moisturized.

• How long does your hand sanitizing lotion last?

  Our hand sanitizing lotion is 2 ounces and intended for multiple uses on a daily basis. Lotion supply provides for 1-3 months, varying on use.

• Is your hand sanitizing lotion like regular hand sanitizer?

  Our hand sanitizing lotion is FDA approved to kill germs. Our unique formula not only disinfects hands, but is highly moisturizing and soothing to the skin.

• Is your hand sanitizing lotion travel size?

  Yes, our hand sanitizing lotion is 2 ounces making it perfect for travel and a variety of other lifestyle functions.

• Is your hand sanitizing lotion effective?

  Yes, our hand sanitizing lotion includes 70% alcohol and is FDA approved to kill germs.

  Our wipes can be used to cleanse hands and surfaces. Our wipes remove dirt, grease, grime and other impurities while also leaving hands and surfaces moisturized and chemical free.

• Are your wipes compostable, biodegradable, and plant-based?

  Yes, our individual wipes are made from bamboo and formulated with entirely toxin-free ingredients enabling them to fully biodegrade.

• Are your wipes recyclable and eco-friendly?

  Yes, our individual wipes are fully biodegradable and recyclable. When finished using your product, discard the wipe and recycle the outer packaging.

• What can your wipes be used for?

  Our wipes can be used to cleanse hands and surfaces. Our wipes remove dirt, grease, grime and other impurities while also leaving hands and surfaces moisturized and chemical free.

• Are your wipes multi-use?

  Yes, our individual wipes can be used on surfaces and are gentle enough for hands.

• How long do your individual use wipes last?

  Our individual use wipes come in packs of 12 and last for twelve individual uses.

• Can I use your wipes as baby wipes?

  Stranded wipes are not baby wipes and should not be used on sensitive areas. Our wipes are not specifically formulated for infant skin. Our individual wipes are made with a small amount of essential oils which on rare occasions can cause skin irritation to babies.

• Are your wipes flushable?

  Do not flush our wipes. Our wipes are biodegradable and should be discarded in a landfill or compost bin.

• Are your wipes travel size?

  Yes, our wipes are individual use and intended for travel.

• Are your wipes effective?

  Yes, our wipes will remove dirt, grease, grime and other impurities from hands and surfaces.

• Do your wipes have a strong fragrance?

  While our products contain a mild fragrance supplied by essential oils, it is entirely natural, plant-based, and non-toxic. The amount of fragrance included in our products is minimal, catering to a variety of tastes.

• Is your dry shampoo easy to use?

  Yes, our eco-friendly, non-toxic dry shampoo powder is easy to use. First, part your hair. Allowing for a 2-3 inch space between the bottle and your scalp, apply product directly to the scalp by shaking the bottle (cap down) directly onto the the areas of your hair that appear dirty or greasy. Use amount desired. Complete application by blending the product into hair.

• Is your dry shampoo for all hair types?

  Yes, our dry shampoo is formulated with all natural ingredients proven to be effective for a variety of hair types and textures while matching the shade of your hair.

• What if I get powder on my clothing?

  While we recommend applying our product in your "getting ready" clothes rather than your "ready to go" clothes, if some powder falls onto your clothing, shake the piece of clothing out. If there is still a shadow remaining, lightly brush it away with your hand or a dry cloth.

• What if I have dark roots and lighter ends?

  Our suggestion is to use the shade that most closely matches your roots. 

• Will the red head shade be right for my hair?

  Yes, we tested this shade on a diverse array of our red headed pals and we think you'll be pleased with how it blends!

• Is the brunette color fitting for all shades of brown?

  Yes, we tested the brunette powder on light brown hair to the darkest of brown locks, and it absorbs so nicely into every shade.

• How long should a bottle last me?

  Depending on how frequently you use Stranded and how heavy-handed you are with its use, one bottle should last roughly two to four months.

• Does your dry shampoo travel well?

  100% yes! Toss it in your bag for a long day out of the house just in case mid-day grease appears. Also, add it to your must-pack toiletry list!

• What if I don't like it after I try it?

  Try it again another day with another hair style - it might take some experimenting! If you still don't like it, gift it to a friend in need :)

• How long until I receive my dry shampoo?

  Expect between four and six business days!

• I have extensions, can I still use your dry shampoo?

  Our dry shampoo is safe for all hair types and hair extensions.

• Why does your dry shampoo come in a plastic bottle?

  Yes, unfortunately, our current dry shampoo packaging is plastic, and we are contining to search for eco-friendly packaging that is both effective in dispensing our dry shampoo powder and conscious of our planet. Stay tuned for updates!

• Do you ship to my address?

  Currently, we only ship within the US. If you are an individual who would like to see Stranded ship outside of the US, please let us know at info@thestrandedshop.com as any feedback helps us plan the growth of our company.

• How quickly will my order ship?

  Order cut-off times are at 11:00 AM CST. If the order is placed after 11:00 AM CST, the order is processed the next business day.

  Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day. Once the order is packaged, you will receive an email with the tracking number for the parcel. Upon product shipment, it will take approximately 4-7 business days to arrive at your door. For other inquiries regarding shipping, please contact help@thestrandedshop.com with your order number.

• I entered the wrong address, what do I do?

  If you have entered any shipping information incorrectly, please let us know immediately at help@thestrandedshop.com and we will do our best to correct this issue.

  Please note that orders are processed the same business day if placed before 11:00AM CST or the next business day after 11:00AM CST. Any inquiries made outside of that window may not be able to be solved. Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to the shipping address once the order has been processed.

• What is your return policy?

  We are honored you have chosen to try our products that we have worked hard to bring to you. We are a small, family-run company and each return affects us personally. We generally cannot accept returns–however please contact help@thestrandedshop.com and we’ll be happy to work with you to resolve your issue.

• Do you ship internationally?

  At this time, we only ship within the US. If you would like to see Stranded ship outside of the US, please let us know at help@thestrandedshop.com.

• Do you charge sales tax?

  We are currently required to charge sales tax in the state of Texas. Please note sales tax will be applied to orders shipping to addresses within Texas.

• What payment methods do you offer?

  We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay.

• My product arrived damaged, can you help?

  If you purchased a product that appears to be damaged, please contact us immediately at help@thestrandedshop.com. Please include your order number, product name, and a description of how the product is damaged in your inquiry and we will work to solve this issue.

• Do you offer free shipping?

  We currently offer free shipping on orders over $40.

• I can't find my order, can you help?

  Once packaged, a shipping confirmation email is sent to the email address provided at checkout. In that email, you will find tracking information, and the carrier that is handling your shipment. If your package is missing or lost, please contact the carrier directly, or reach out to us at help@thestrandedshop.com for assistance.

  Our hand sanitizing lotion and dry shampoo are created in the US. Our individual use wipes are manufactured in New Zealand.

• How long do your products last before they expire?

  Wipes remaining unopened and fully-sealed can last for 2+ years. Each hand sanitizing lotion bottle is clearly marked with an expiration date on the bottom of the bottle, typically lasting 2 years.
